Welcome to the website of the Accountability and Accountancy Services Division (AASD). AASD is a division of the Department of Finance and Personnel (Northern Ireland Civil Service).
AASD is divided into four branches. For details on each branch use the branch links to the left.
The main activities of the division are:
- Providing advice, guidance and support in relation to:
- Public audit business
- Financial reporting, accountability and corporate governance
- Fraud and internal audit policy
- Overseeing the continued implementation of resource accounts, central government accounts and the introduction of whole of government accounts

Co-ordinating the delivery of the Account NI project and Shared Service Centre
